The 2023 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship kicks off this Monday in Nassau, Bahamas. This pre-world cup will provide two places for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup United Arab Emirates 2023.

The Selecta de Playa will seek not only to win one of the two World Cup tickets for the category, but also to be crowned again as the best beach soccer team in Concacaf.

For the Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship, the blue and white team is located in group A along with the teams from Costa Rica, Guadeloupe and Turks and Caicos. La Selecta will debut this day at 2:30 pm (Salvadoran time), when they face off against their counterpart from Turks and Caicos, at Malcom Park, in the Bahamas.

Tomorrow, those led by Rudis Gallo will face Guadalupe at the same time. On Wednesday they will close the group stage when they play the last game against the Costa Rican team, a team they already faced in April at the Estadio Nacional Costa del Sol, at the ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023 – Qualifier El Salvador, with a Salvadoran victory in the penalty shootout.

If the national team manages to advance, on Friday they will play their quarterfinal match and on Saturday they will play the two semifinals that will give the places to the United Arab Emirates World Cup. On Sunday the pre-mundial final between the two qualifiers will take place.
