With the participation of 30 teams, 18 for men and 12 for women, this Saturday the third edition of the CEL Cup Beach Soccer League 2023 will be launched, which will be inaugurated at the National Stadium on the Costa del Sol.
“The wait is over. The third edition of the CEL Cup Beach Soccer League will begin next Saturday at the Costa del Sol stadium and, as I have done before, I thank the team owners, athletes, coaches and representatives who have made the sacrifice of returning to compete in what we are passionate about: beach soccer”, said the ad honorem president of INDES, Yamil Bukele.
The official explained that the winner of the men’s tournament will receive a $3,000 purse; second place $2,000 and third place $1,000. While, in women, the prizes will be $2,000 for first place, $1,000 for second, and $500 for third.
With four games on Saturday and seven on Sunday, the tournament will once again be played in the festival mode, with full days in the different fields of the country, which will strengthen local commerce.
For each day, which will be broadcast on television and radio and with all incidents on social networks, the teams will receive a hydration quota per game, and a stage set up will be carried out at each venue for the comfort of the fans.
