The famous New Zealand actor, Sam Neil, confirmed in an interview that he is fighting cancer that has him on the verge of losing his life.
He gave the interview to The Guardian media outlet and said that the disease is very advanced.
Neil revealed that he has been fighting cancer for a year, in which he has dedicated himself to receiving medical treatments and not working.
“I can’t pretend that the last year hasn’t had its dark moments, but those dark moments put the light in stark relief and have made me feel grateful for each day,” he added.
Neil’s situation made him write a book, which he is presenting and which has inadvertently become a reason to live.
