Tech titans Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk have a fierce corporate rivalry that has escalated into something reminiscent of a playground spat, with the two men offering to fight each other in a cage.
It all started after Elon Musk recently tweeted that he would be “ready for a cage fight” (something typical of MMA) with Zuckerberg. The Meta CEO responded by posting a screenshot of Musk’s tweet with the caption “send me the location.”
None gave up locality. As Musk wrote on Twitter, Zuckerberg’s response came via Meta-owned Instagram.
The two men have taunted each other for years with opposing views on everything from politics to artificial intelligence.
But their new business rivalry has exacerbated the animosity. Musk responded angrily to a recent claim by a Meta official that he had interest in a “sanely run” alternative to Twitter.
