Manchester City will look to win the Champions League for the first time tomorrow Saturday when they play against Inter Milan. This is the second time that the English club will play the final in the most important competition in Europe.
In the case of Inter, they have already won this trophy three times (1964, 1965 and 2010) and are looking for the fourth.
Since an investment fund from Abu Dhabi took over the club in 2008, Manchester City has become the absolute dominator of English football, with seven league titles and three cup titles, but without that coveted European title.
The dominance has become greater by City since the Spanish coach Pep Guardiola came to the bench, who has won five Premier titles in seven seasons, being close to winning the Champions League the last two seasons (finalist in 2021 and semifinalist in 2022 ).
City’s figures this season make it an undisputed favourite. If he wins that Champions League that he is missing and that he is vehemently pursuing, he will complete the long-awaited triplet.
