The coach of La Selecta, Hugo Pérez, thanked “God for the tie achieved this Tuesday in Asian lands against South Korea.

El Salvador drew 1-1 against the Asian team when they had been behind the score since four minutes into the second half.

Pérez has always remained neutral when playing a La Azul y Blanco match, although this time he celebrated the score after rescuing the second friendly match played in this area.

“I have nothing to say, just thank God,” said the La Selecta coach.

“I thank South Korea for giving us the opportunity to play against one of the best teams in Asia. This will help us emotionally and psychologically to face the Gold Cup. After these games in Asia I already have the line-up for the Gold Cup game on Monday,” Pérez added.
