N’Golo Kanté is officially a new player for Al Ittihad from Saudi Arabia. The 32-year-old French midfielder joins Karim Benzema’s team until 2027 and will receive 25 million euros for each of the four seasons he plays for the Saudi team.
Mundo Deportivo explained that Kanté was ending his contract with Chelsea on June 30 after seven seasons at Stamford Bridge and has decided to accept Al Ittihad’s offer. The footballer will be presented in the month of July.
The Saudi championship adds a new top player in Europe after the acquisitions of Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo. In addition, other players like Morata, Saúl, Son, Thomas Partey also have million-dollar proposals from that country.
