Gerard Piqué returned to make news on social networks after denying the seat to the girlfriend of one of his former Barcelona teammates. The case has gone viral on social media.
The video was recorded in 2019, when Piqué was denied a seat by the Dutchman Frenkie De Jong who had just signed with the Blaugrana club.
The then defender of the Catalans waved in the air and shouted in disapproval when they asked him to move so that De Jong and his girlfriend could sit down. With a nervous and awkward smile, the Dutchman didn’t know how to act.
The video ends with Frenkie’s partner sitting in another row because Piqué did not want to move.
