The German club Bayern Munich announced that it imposed a sports sanction on its player, Sadio Mané, after a fight in the locker room of the Teutonic team.
The German club made the announcement in a press release, posted on their social media profiles.
Mané “will not be in the FC Bayern squad for the home game against 1899 Hoffenheim next Saturday,” the statement said.
The reason for the sanction is “an incorrect behavior by Mané after FC Bayern’s Champions League game against Manchester City,” he adds.
Until today, the Bavarian club had remained silent about the fight that occurred in the locker room, after the heavy defeat in the UEFA Champions League.
Sadio Mané will also receive “a fine”, concludes the brief statement, barely a paragraph long.
