The new director of national teams, Diogo Gama, was recommended by the former captain of La Selecta, Mauricio Cienfuegos, detailed on his website Diario El Salvador.
Among his curriculum is having worked for three years with the Real Madrid youth academies, he has a master’s degree in youth training and a degree in sports science.
Humberto Sáenz Marinero, president of the Standardization Commission of the Salvadoran Football Federation (FESFUT), said at the press conference that he did not want to rush the presentation of the new director of national teams.
According to the leader, various profiles of different nationalities were analyzed for the position of sports director.
