The ad honorem president of the National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES), Yamil Bukele, announced that the players of the women’s beach soccer team will also be part of the Effort and Glory Program.
Said program includes an economic stimulus for those selected and is in force as of this month of March.
“The girls know that as of March they have $500 a month and that this obviously helps the women’s team to cover any expenses and needs so that they are one hundred percent focused on training,” said Yamil Bukele.
“The encouragement is our contribution, this is our grain of sand so that both Elías Ramírez, with the women’s team, and both Rudis Gallo, with the men’s team, have it easier and you dedicate yourself to raising the name of El Salvador”, added the head of INDES.
As expected, this support for the female blue shirt reinforced the joy and motivation of the national shortlisted.
“Thank God and Yamil Bukele for the encouragement and it will help us in the best way. I feel happy and satisfied, because now we are going to train calmer”, said Marisa González, player of the beach preselection.
The women’s team is counting down to its participation in the ANOC World Beach Games Bali 2023-Qualifier El Salvador, where it will face Trinidad and Tobago, the Bahamas and the United States.
