Real Madrid has completed its pass to the semifinals of the Champions League after beating Chelsea FC (0-2) on Tuesday in the second leg in London.
A double for Rodrygo Goes, who has shown his great form, against an English team that, as in the first leg, has not been able to stand up to the white team.
The first half of the match began with a Real Madrid team that wanted to wait to see how Chelsea planned to face this second leg –after losing in the first leg (0-2)– in which they were forced to put everything on the grill offensively to try to turn the tie around.
Chelsea tried during the first half with some dangerous occasions that failed to end in the white goal but served to give Thibaut Courtois more than a scare, who had to use himself in a couple of shots so that the white team did not finish the first 45 minutes below the scoreboard.
The second goal would come after a defensive error by the London defense that, after leaving a large space near their area, was taken advantage of by Fede Valverde who gave a pass of death that Rodrygo finished off at will.
