A control judge, attached to the Superior Court of Justice of Mexico City, issued an arrest warrant against the presenters of the Ventaneando program, Pati Chapoy and Daniel Bisogno.
Mexican media reported that the arrest warrants are due to a legal conflict with actress Gabi Spanic.
However, in the last few hours it became known that the arrest warrant against Chapoy cannot be executed because another judge granted a temporary suspension, in favor of the journalist.
Pati Chapoy’s lawyer filed an amparo lawsuit, arguing that the order did not highlight the fault or omission that the journalist was accused of.
The appeal adds that the court did not notify him in “time and form” about the procedure that was initiated against Pati Chapoy.
