The Salvadoran surfer Amado Alvarado prevailed over his rivals, to raise the flag of El Salvador on the podium of the Central American and Caribbean Games, San Salvador 2023.

Alvarado won the gold medal in the Longboard category, the second for the country in less than 24 hours.

Yesterday Tuesday, the shooting athlete, Israel Gutiérrez, won the first gold medal for the country in the 50 meter three position category.
