A worker suffered serious burns this Thursday morning after a fire broke out in a building under construction located on Las Amapolas avenue, San Salvador.
According to the authorities’ report, the mason suffered first-degree burns and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Elements of the National Civil Police (PNC) detailed that they will remain in the area until the proceedings are completed on what caused the fire in the structure.
The rapid actions of the El Salvador Fire Department prevented the flames from injuring more people and spreading to nearby buildings.
